Instant Geocoder: Two Editions Available
Instant Geocoder and Instant Geocoder PLUS are available in two editions.

Client/Customer Hosted: Databases are limited to street centroid coordinates are available for hosting on QuestSoft customer’s server or desktop. The size of this database is only 410 MB. Segments have been designed to restrict crossover into multiple census tracts for accuracy within applications requiring analysis within census areas such as banks, mortgage lenders, real estate, insurance, medical, political consulting, and other industries. Interfaces are available in Windows API or in XML SOAP versions.

QuestSoft Hosted: Developers, Integrators and customers can directly link to QuestSoft servers using a XML SOAP interface. The centroid database (410 MB) is available for immediate use. A more robust house level geocoder is expected by September 2010, and will provide actual NAVTEQ supplied high quality information.

Instant Geocoder includes links to Google Maps™ and Microsoft Bing™ maps for both the provided address and the latitude/longitude coordinates. The program includes 337,000 additional updated records and identification of not only multiple zip codes or cities within a zip code, but also census tracts that touch the area being searched for more accurate location of difficult addresses.

Supplemental programs
QuestSoft provides four supplemental programs to the Instant Geocoder family of products. The programs include IG Lookup, IG Batch, IG SDK, and Analytics.

IG Look up: This stand alone program allows users at any workstation to access the installed database location to look up individual addresses by simply placing a desktop shortcut on the user’s machine. Additional address cross-referencing features have been added to more quickly and accurately find incorrect address entries. Push button web mapping through the use of Google Maps™ and Bing Maps™ has been added to IG Look up.

IG Batch: Capable of geocoding over 4,000 records per minute, this program allows the user to analyze a comma delimited (CSV) or text (TXT) file and append geocoding, demographic and centroid latitude/longitude information to records.

IG SDK: Software Developers Kit that is available for all developers and system integrators. IG SDK can be purchased in Windows API and XML SOAP version.

Analytics: Census tract based supplemental data elements are available to provide income levels, demographics, ethnicity and urban and rural population breakdowns, household totals, median incomes, households, poverty status and more. Other analytical databases such as crime statistics, congressional districts, or virtually any data associated with a census tract boundary can be added as a data set upon request.
