Dynatek's MORvision Now Fully Integrated With Instant Geocoder

LIVONIA, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 2001--Lenders now have seamless access to 31 million street addresses through their loan origination system.

Dynatek, one of the mortgage industry's foremost providers of mortgage lending software solutions, announced today the formation of a strategic business partnership with Laguna Hills, Calif.-based QuestSoft, a mortgage software development firm.

Under the terms of this agreement, Dynatek will integrate QuestSoft's Instant Geocoder(TM) program into its flagship loan origination software (LOS) solution, MORvision(TM).

Instant Geocoder is a compliance-quality engine that enables lenders to "geocode" (obtain census tracts on properties) without retyping addresses or requiring the aid of the Federal Reserve's Internet site. Installed on a lender's desktop or server, Instant Geocoder works in conjunction with MORvision with just a few mouse clicks. Instant Geocoder takes the address entered into MORvision and cross-references it with QuestSoft's 31,000,000 street segment database to return state, county, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and Census Tract Numbers in a matter of seconds.

"Instant Geocoder allows loan originators do to something that they have never been able to do before, which is retrieve census data on a particular property without leaving MORvision," said Leonard Ryan, president of QuestSoft. If a street address is misspelled, Instant Geocoder displays a screen with all of the addresses in that zip code allowing the user to select the address and identify his or her entry mistake. Instant Geocoder eliminates the error-prone, manual process of entering these codes from an appraisal or other source. Unlike other comparable data sources, Instant Geocoder meets all mandated compliance regulations.

"With this program, lenders will be able to instantly validate the address on the loan application, which will greatly reduce the risk of fraudulent loans.
