HMDA RELIEF Specifications

HMDA RELIEF – HMDA/Fair Lending (Preferred Specification)
Recent changes to Truth in Lending (Reg. Z) have made it even more important for lenders to consider adding Fair Lending compliance into their HMDA repertoire. The specifications found here allow the most complete evaluation of a lender’s operations and offer the user the opportunity to take advantage of all of QuestSoft’s HMDA & Fair Lending products and services.

Other HMDA RELIEF Import Options

HMDA RELIEF – HMDA Data Only
These specifications contain the minimum number of fields required for HMDA reporting. The resulting file can be read into all HMDA RELIEF products. No optional Fair Lending or CRA fields are included.

HMDA RELIEF - MERGE Import Specifications
These specifications allow users to merge additional fields with existing FFIEC HMDA.DAT data. They should be used when you wish to take advantage of the batch automation features of QuestSoft’s HMDA RELIEF software to supplement an existing Federal Reserve/FFIEC HMDA file.

CRA RELIEF Specifications

CRA RELIEF Import Specifications
These specifications contain the fields required for CRA reporting. The resulting file can be read into CRA RELIEF and can be used with any Commercial /Consumer Lending Systems.

CRA RELIEF Branch/ATM/LPO Import FileSpecifications
These specifications contain the fields required to import the financial institution's Branch, ATM, and/or Loan Production Office data for statistical presentation of the information within CRA RELIEF. This information allows for performance context analysis and more targeted reports.
CRA RELIEF Mapping Instructions using MapPoint®
These instructions allow users to easily map their assessment area(s) for analysis in Microsoft’s popular and affordable mapping product, MapPoint. Assessment areas created in CRA RELIEF can be also be easily imported into any third party mapping software.

Combined HMDA/CRA/Fair Lending Specifications

Complete File Specification (HMDA/CRA/Fair Lending/Team Member included)
These preferred specifications contain all of the data fields required for importing into both HMDA RELIEF and CRA RELIEF. Refer to the “required fields” section to determine which fields are needed for your purposes. QuestSoft recommends using these if you wish to utilize HMDA RELIEF for Fair Lending analysis or to track individual Branch/Team Member performance.

Other Combined Import Options

CRA RELIEF / HMDA RELIEF Only File Import Specification
These specifications contain the minimum number of fields required to import data required for automation using HMDA RELIEF and CRA RELIEF. No optional Fair Lending fields will be included. These specifications may be of special interest to companies that offer commercial/consumer loan capabilities to banks that do not routinely collect Fair Lending data.

Instant Geocoder
Instant Geocoder is QuestSoft’s popular solution for determining Census Tract information associated with specific properties. The software is fully integrated with over 40 loan originations systems as well as HMDA RELIEF and CRA RELIEF. Instant Geocoder contains over 33 million addresses and unlike other comparable systems, is updated quarterly. Implementation is simple and short. Specifications are available for SOAP XML and Windows API formats.

Compliance EAGLE
Compliance EAGLE is an end-to-end, fully automated compliance review solution that integrates with leading loan origination systems. Compliance EAGLE is unique in that it automates the entire mortgage lending compliance process in a single system. It provides compliance with federal, state & local laws and regulations along with fraud detection, risk assessment; flood certification and RESPA related fee accuracy and High Cost determination. The service is provided in XML with HTML output as desired.

Flood Services
QuestSoft offers traditional Flood Certification integration, though most integrators are now electing for the more robust Compliance EAGLE integration with more services available for roughly comparable effort.
